Hi, I’m Melissa — the proud dog mom to two amazing Labradors: Olive, and Nellie, and one wonderful rescue: Mya.
I am currently working full time at the hospital as a sterile processing technician, I clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments. I have come to learn that with this profession, there is no work/life balance. Pretty sure I spend more time at work than I do at home with my girls.🥲
My long term goal is the ability to work from home full time on Lab Life Unleashed and achieve more flexibility in my work schedule and have more time to spend with family, friends, and most importantly ~ Mya, Olive, and Nellie.
Life With Labs
Dogs have always been the heartbeat of my life. My happy place is anywhere with my girls. Lazy afternoons by the lake, chaotic zoomies in the yard, or wet-nosed greetings — I wouldn’t trade this Labrador life for anything.
More Than Just a Dog Mom
I’m also the biggest dog lover you’ll ever meet. Outside of my pups, I love being outdoors, discovering new adventures, and spending time laughing with family and friends. But no matter where I am, life is always better with Labs by my side.

I started Lab Life Unleashed because of my three girls — Mya, Olive, and Nellie. They’re goofy, loyal, and endlessly entertaining, and I wanted a place to share it all: the silly, messy, joy-filled moments, along with honest reviews and product testing of the things that make life with dogs even better.

Nellie stole my heart at 5 weeks old, before she even came home. Olive proudly earned first place in her very first agility competition. And Mya? She’s my lake — day partner through and through. And Me? I’m just the lucky dog mom behind it all.
