While the world rushes around her, Nellie loves to simply sit and watch. She notices everything — the breeze, the birds, even the sunset. She’ll pause, look out over the yard, and you can almost see her thinking deep thoughts about life.

Nellie loves fetch — but not the returning part. She prefers when I throw the ball so she can catch it, then immediately turn the game into “keep away from Olive and Mya.” Chaos is part of the fun.
💦 Sprinkler Thief & Hose Bandit
Water days are her favorite. She launches herself into the puppy pool, dances through the sprinkler, and has made it her personal mission to steal the hose every time I try to fill the pool. Because of this, filling the pool takes forever — and it makes me laugh every single time.

She enjoys a good bone in the evenings, but she will never try to take Mya’s. She knows that line is not to be crossed.

Like Olive, she patrols the yard for walnuts dropping from the tree. Crack, chew, victory. It’s a daily mission.
🛏 Dramatic Sleeper & Bed Hog
At night, Nellie transforms into a full acrobat. She sleeps on her back, paws reaching to the sky, belly open to the breeze like she has absolutely no worries. She also sprawls sideways across the bed, leaving Todd and I clinging to the edges — and honestly, we let her.
🤍 New to Cuddles — and Loving It
She’s still young, but she’s starting to fall in love with evening cuddle time. She melts into my side like she finally understands that this is her home, her family, and she can fully relax here.

Nellie is an AKC registered English Labrador, born July 14, 2023, now 2 years old. She came from the same breeder as Olive — because when you find someone you trust, you go back. She was worth every mile, every decision, every moment of waiting.
